Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb skinless salmon fillets
- ½ cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup carrot strips
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- Salt and oil for cooking
Instructions
- Rinse jasmine rice under cold water until clear, then combine with 1½ cups of water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
- Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear skin-side down for about 4-5 minutes. Flip the fillets.
- Pour teriyaki sauce over the salmon as it cooks on the second side for another 3-4 minutes until flaky.
- In another pan, steam broccoli and carrot strips with a splash of water for about 5 minutes until tender.
- Assemble your bowls by dividing cooked rice among containers, adding salmon and sautéed vegetables on top. Drizzle with extra teriyaki sauce if desired.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
