Strawberry Puff Pastry Hearts are a delightful dessert that combines flaky, buttery pastry with sweet, juicy strawberries. Perfect for any occasion, these charming heart-shaped treats are not only visually appealing but also irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets (thawed)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries and granulated sugar; let sit for 10 minutes to release juices.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into heart shapes.
  4. Place half of the hearts on the baking sheet, spoon the strawberry mixture onto each, and top with another heart shape. Seal edges gently.
  5. Brush each pastry with egg wash for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
