Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and let cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter with granulated and brown sugars. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Gradually mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
