Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch square baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Streusel Topping:
- In a small bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture becomes crumbly. Set aside.
- Make the Cinnamon Swirl:
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Mix the Cake Batter:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture alternately with the sour cream (or Greek yogurt), starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Assemble the Cake:
- Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon swirl mixture evenly over the batter.
