- Water as needed
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and ensure chickpeas are drained and rinsed.
- In a blender or food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt, and olive oil. Blend until smooth.
- Gradually add water while blending to achieve a creamy consistency; scrape down the sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or lemon juice if desired.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, create a well in the center, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle paprika or cumin on top.
- Serve immediately with pita bread or fresh veggies.
