- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions

- Cook the ziti in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes), drain without rinsing.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic; sauté until soft (3-4 minutes).
- Add ground beef; cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat, then stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a baking dish, layer half the ziti, followed by half the meat sauce and half of both cheeses. Repeat layers.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil; bake an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
