  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 box instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup chopped unsalted pistachios (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine yellow cake mix and pistachio pudding mix. Add sour cream, vegetable oil, eggs, and water; mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  5. Garnish with chopped pistachios and serve plain or with whipped cream.
