- 8 oz wide egg noodles
- 1 can (12 oz) tuna packed in water, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water until al dente, about 6-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté diced onions in olive oil over medium heat until soft and translucent, around 4-5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked noodles, drained tuna, sautéed onions, cream of mushroom soup, frozen peas, and half of the cheddar cheese until well combined.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a casserole dish. Transfer the noodle mixture into the dish and spread evenly.
