  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, lime juice, brown sugar, cumin, paprika, and cilantro until smooth.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it; massage gently to coat.
  3. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for maximum flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill to 450°F (230°C).
  5. Grill the marinated flank steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (internal temperature around 135°F).
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
