Description

Garlic Potato Pops are a delightful snack that combines crispy exteriors with fluffy, flavorful interiors. Bursting with garlic and savory spices, these golden-brown bites are perfect for any occasion—whether it’s a game night or a cozy family gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium starchy potatoes (about 800g), peeled and cubed
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (100g)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (100g)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the cubed potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes until tender. Drain and return to pot.
  2. Mash the potatoes while warm; mix in garlic and butter until smooth.
  3. Stir in Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, pepper, and the beaten egg until well combined.
  4. Using wet hands, form the mixture into golf ball-sized pops and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Roll each pop in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  6. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
