Description

This classic Tuna Casserole combines creamy textures and savory flavors for a quick, heartwarming meal that brings families together.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans solid white albacore tuna (drained)
  • 1 cup uncooked egg noodles or macaroni
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, peas, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  4. Add the cooked pasta and season with salt and pepper; stir until evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs. Drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
