Description

Caramel Apple Cake Pops are a delightful treat that perfectly combines the sweet, gooey goodness of caramel with the crisp tartness of apples. These bite-sized desserts are not only visually appealing but also a burst of flavor in every bite. Ideal for fall gatherings, parties, or just a fun afternoon snack, these cake pops will impress your friends and family while invoking nostalgic memories of cozy autumn days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (vanilla or spice)
  • 1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (dark or milk chocolate)
  • ½ cup sprinkles or chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions.
  2. Pour batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
  3. Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
  4. Mix in apple sauce and half of the caramel sauce until combined; mixture should hold together when squeezed.
  5. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on parchment paper.
  6. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth. Dip one end of each stick into chocolate before inserting it into each ball.
  7. Dip each cake pop into melted chocolate, letting excess drip off, then place them back on parchment paper.
  8. While still wet, add sprinkles or nuts for decoration. Allow to set before serving.
