  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of thinly sliced ham
  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place each chicken breast between plastic wrap and pound to about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Lay slices of ham and cheese on each flattened breast, then roll tightly and secure with toothpicks if needed.
  4. Dredge each roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. In a skillet, heat oil or butter over medium heat and fry the rolls for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
