- 8 strips thick-cut bacon, cooked until crispy & crumbled
- 1 1/2 cups dill pickles, finely diced
- 6 tbsp dill pickle juice (divided)
- 6 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 tbsp fresh dill weed, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta: Boil cavatappi until al dente. Drain, toss with 3 tbsp pickle juice while warm, and let cool.

- Dressing: Whisk mayo, sour cream, remaining pickle juice, fresh dill, garlic powder, and onion powder.

- Mix-ins: Dice pickles, cube cheddar cheese, and crumble crispy cooked bacon.

- Combine & chill: Toss pasta, dressing, pickles, cheddar, and bacon together. Garnish with dill and chill 1 hr.
