  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and halve the baby potatoes. Mince the garlic and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and cook the halved potatoes until golden brown and fork-tender (15-20 minutes). Remove from the skillet.
  3. Add another tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet and sear the sirloin steak pieces for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add minced garlic and butter to the pan, stirring until melted and combined with the steak.
  5. Return the potatoes to the skillet, mix well, and garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.
