  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 chopped green onions
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and ginger to create the marinade. Toss chicken in marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear marinated chicken pieces until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Add leftover marinade and water mixed with cornstarch to the skillet; stir until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
