  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the penne until al dente; drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until soft (about 5 minutes).
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, sautéed vegetables, pepperoni, pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
