  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup plain bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Form patties and sear until browned (4-5 minutes per side). Set aside.

  5. Return patties to the skillet, cover, and simmer on low for another 10 minutes.
