  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water and butter until boiling. Add flour all at once and stir until it forms a ball.
  3. Remove from heat; let cool slightly before adding eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Transfer dough to a piping bag and pipe small mounds onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. While cooling, whip heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form, then fold in sliced strawberries.
  7. Slice each puff open and fill generously with the strawberry cream mixture.
