  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, parsley, Parmesan cheese, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and an internal temperature of 160°F is reached.
  5. While baking, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly.
  6. Once cooked, gently add the meatballs to the marinara sauce and stir to coat.
