  • 2 cups fresh baby bella or cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.

  3. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until golden brown.
  4. Drain the spaghetti, reserving some pasta water, then combine it with the mushroom-garlic mixture in the skillet.
  5. Stir in salt, pepper, and fresh basil; add reserved pasta water if needed for moisture.
  6. Off heat, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top and toss gently until melted.
